Jesse and Mary Rolston (1862-1864)
Jesse Rolston, Jr., married Mary Catharine Cromer before the war. The Rolstons lived on their farm with their family near Mt. Solon in Augusta County, Virginia. Jesse Rolston enlisted in Company D of the 52nd Virginia Infantry. During his service, he was captured, imprisoned, and exchanged. After the war, Jesse returned to his family in Augusta.
