Lydia Kennedy Will

I Lydia Kennedy of the borough of Greencastle Franklin County State of Pennsylvania in this my last will and testament bequeath unto Rebecca [illegible] Kenedy [sic] my niece all my Real Estate as well as personal property forms[?] the the Real Estate Consisting of a lot of ground with a one story log house thereon situated on the East side of Carlisle Street joining lots of the kins of John Hause deceased on the North, and lot of John Rhodamer on the South Containiing Sixty feet in from and extending two hundred and forty feet back to an alley. The personal property being household furniture In witness where of I Lydia Kennedy have to this my will set my hand and seal this Seventeenth day of March in the Year of Our Lord One thousand eight hundred and fifty two [?].

Before me George W. Toms Register of the probate of wills to in and for said County personally came Jacob B. Crowell and John Shillito subscribing witnesses to the foregoing instrument of writing who being duly affirmed according law aid depose and say that they were personally present and saw Lydia Kennedy now deceased write her name unto and heard her publish pronounce and declare the same as and for her last will and testament and that at the time of the doing thereof she was of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding according to the best of their knowledge and belief and that their names thereunto subscribed as witnesses are in their own proper hand writing and done at the same time. Affirmed and subscribed this 22nd day of April 1859.
